This epic Rab sleep mat also has plenty of cunning tech built to maximise your comfort. There are oversized outer chambers made to help keep you in the middle of the mat through the night, together with a handy grip print to help stop your sleeping bag from slipping as you slumber. The fabric has a lovely soft next-to-skin feel, while the versatile rectangular shape means you can rest comfortably regardless of your sleeping position.

Getting the Ionosphere 5.5 inflated is nice and easy thanks to the low-profile two-way valve and handy pump sack, which also allows you to quickly inflate the mat when the temperature plummets. Oh, and there’s a repair kit thrown in too, should you need to do some running repairs.
